  • Select the software appropriate to your product edition and version.

Installing QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale

After the product has been downloaded, you need to install it in your system. Follow the step to do so:

Open the downloaded QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale, and double-click on the QB POS executable file to begin Point of Sale installation.

  • Click on Yes if prompted to overwrite open extracted files.
  • Click on Next to start the installation process.
  • Go through the provided Software License Agreement. Click on Accept then click Next
  • Now, you will need to enter License & Product numbers, after you have entered it click on Next and Next again
  • Next, you will be required to select the number of PC to be used for POS
  • For single User click Only This Computer and continue the installation process.
  • For multiple Users click Two or More Computers and pick if it is the Client workstation or the Server.
    Next, click on install (click on Back in case you want to go back and review the steps)
  • If required, restart the computer and open to QuickBooks Desktop POS to start.
  • Once the installation completes, activate the QuickBooks Desktop POS and you’re all set.
